- 1. Life and Dignity of the Human Person
2. Call to Family, Community, and Participation
We believe that people have a right and a duty to participate in society, seeking together the common good and well being of all especially the poor and vulnerable. This means that everyone especially this less fortunate should be included in the community. So by participating in the 40 hour famine we can experience what it is like to be left out
3. Rights and Responsibilities
Every person has a right to life so we should all be included in everything we do. Along with these rights come responsibilities to ourselves, families and others.
4. Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
Putting the poor first should be the main priority for all and giving them the support and opportunities they need.
5. The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers
The economy must serve the people. The workers who help us give us what we need have to be respected and put before ourselves.
6. Solidarity
We are all brothers and sisters, no matter what our national, racial, ethnic, economic, and ideological differences are. We need to work together make world peace.
7. Care for God's Creation
We should respect our creator God for creating us and looking after us. We should live in faith and peace with all of Gods other creations.
